“I am a lifelong lover of French language and culture. I speak French and spent my college years and 20s studying abroad and spending as much time in France as I could. The years passed and I became a mother to a son who began learning French at an immersion school. French was not forgotten; I realized that though I am a French speaker I was speaking the French of a 20 something college student from the 90s.
